Aug 1 -25BB, Heritage walk

7am departure with 9 riders into the hills for a quick ride. Rolling hills past farms, a couple of missed turns, an Acadian area and we became first riders over the new bridge, back by 9am for 2nd breakfast. Back on the bike (for some) over to walk one of the heritage roads. These steep dirt "great runs sanctioned" roads go back to 1700s and were former main roads in pei. Some home/some out for lunch, then naps and beach in what is evolving into our daily routine. Perfect cycling weather continues, with sun and temps starting around 60 then rising to low 70s. Evening activity - Gaslight, at watermark theatre, walkable. Still havent been in my car - a measure of a good day. Also have to mention the garage feature of the house that holds all the bikes. 39 miles, plus at least 10 miles walking.
